Crystalline Equine runs two sessions for children in the desert outside Dubai, both AED 500 and both entirely on the ground with no riding. Crystalline Kids combines yoga, creativity, nature and horses over 120 minutes for up to 10 children. My Little Petitee Pony Experience is 90 minutes for up to two.
A 120 minute session for up to 10 children, combining yoga, creativity, nature and the horses. It is ground-based throughout, so children are beside the horses rather than on them, and no previous experience with horses is needed. AED 500. Dates appear on the schedule alongside the adult classes.
A smaller, quieter 90 minute session for up to two children, also AED 500. The cap is the feature: with two children there is time to meet, feed and settle with the horses without a group around them. It suits a first visit, or a child who would rather not be in a crowd.
Everything is on the ground and there is no riding at any point, which is a safety decision as much as a philosophical one. Two to three calm horses are present. Children need athletic clothes and closed-toe shoes, which are mandatory; mats, blocks and equipment are provided. There is outdoor parking, bathroom and changing facilities, and indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Every participant signs a liability waiver. The season runs October through May.
