Things to Do

What is actually new to do in Dubai?

Crystalline Equine is Dubai’s first horse-led wellness sanctuary, which Khaleej Times described in February 2026 as the first in the city to place horses at the centre of wellbeing. You spend 90 minutes on the ground beside two or three horses doing yoga, pilates, meditation or sound. There is no riding, and the 2026 season opened in October.

What makes it different from the rest of the list

Most things billed as new in Dubai are bigger, faster or higher. This is none of those. It is a quiet space in the desert dunes about 20 minutes from Downtown Dubai where the activity is being near animals and moving slowly. Everything is ground-based, so you are beside the horses rather than on one, and the whole premise is presence rather than control.

It is also seasonal, which is the part people miss

The season runs October through May and we pause for the summer to rest the horses from the Dubai heat. So this is not a thing you can do year round, and the window is roughly the same window that makes everything else outdoors in Dubai pleasant. Dates open on the schedule as the season runs, with classes at either end of the day including sunset.

What you would actually book

A group experience is AED 199 per person for 90 minutes and takes up to 15 people. The class varies by date: yoga, pilates, mat work, guided meditation or crystal singing bowls. There are also two children’s sessions at AED 500, and one private one to one horse reiki session at AED 1,500. No experience with horses or with movement is needed for any of them.
